WELCOME TO ALLISON LOUISE DEFEO'S MEMORIAL WEBSITE

Allison: Welcome

ABOUT ALLISON:

Information is inferred from pictures of her and her room, or is testimony from friends of the family.

It is likely that Dawn also used to sleep in the same room as Allison as seen by the extra bed in Allison's room and the fact that John and Marc shared a room. I theorize that being as Dawn was 18 years old, she wanted her own room, her own space and took the room in the attic that I believe was probably a guest room.

She liked flowers, and light colors like pink and white, as seen by her shag carpet, her blinds, her sheets, and her headboard, however, she could've also liked black, as seen by the black garment, maybe a shirt or something on the other bed, and the black jacket hanging on her chair. She had some framed pictures on her walls, some having clipart girls holding flowers, others being just flowers, her wallpaper was a flower pattern, and she had a bouquet of flowers on both her radiators.

She was a reader, as seen by the copy of Alfred Hitchcock's 'Murders I Fell in Love With' in her bottom nightstand drawer. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, even making a makeshift table for one of them by placing a piece of cardboard on top of a face-down air conditioner. One of the two jigsaw puzzles she was working on was that of a harbor in Eckernförde, Germany, the other, Salzhausen, Germany.

Anthony Gangitano, a friend and teammate of Marc DeFeo mentioned that Allison would play with them in the basement, playing pool, or Sorry!. Allison's friend Patty Cammaroto also stated that Allison, John, Marc, and herself would keep toys in the little room in the basement that came to be known as the Red Room. When she was bored of reading or doing puzzles, she had a TV on her dresser that she could watch from her bed, or, she also had a radio on her desk she could listen to. One (her left) or both of her ears were pierced. She had swimming goggles with a nose cover in her nightstand drawer, and an inflatable banana pool toy beside her chair for when she would swim in the pool. She was likely around 5'0 and 95-105 pounds. She had a pencil sharpener (though unplugged) on one of her radiators. She had a cloth McDonald's bag on her floor, the closest McDonald's I could find was in neighboring Massapequa. She had quite a few stuffed animals on her chair along with more clothing articles, one being a pair of blue jeans.

Also worth mentioning is this last one seen on one newspaper. It looks like it could be a different class photo and that's what I originally thought as well,  but this is actually just a REALLY low quality copy of the above photo. it looks like she has a stray hair but I personally believe that's just an artifact from the copying. Pretty much everything else matches up with the above photo (Colorized by me.)
